I'm thrilled to say that we have a playable prototype! It's all far from final, especially the design and balancing on my end. Still, it's a massive boost of confidence for me as we advance.
Working Modules
I've officially got three working upgrade modules: the steering wheel, the fuel tank, and the turret module. The player can pick up and move these modules around Linda and activate their functions. I have a reasonably robust abstract base class, so developing more modules should be much easier.
Local Multiplayer
We also have local multiplayer working and can support up to four players on keyboards and gamepads! Moving forward, we'll be working on expanding this system to enable things like character customization.
